After hanging out in the Ironwood Forest National Monument and not touristing very much, I decided it was time to head into Tucson and needed southwestern art fix.
Having a few weeks with my friends Mark and Kate was spectacular, with trips to New York City and crash courses on modern and contemporary art from a successful artist.
Rolling into Brookings, SD, I knew I had a while to wait before my Amazon package would be available, so I headed to the South Dakota Art Museum to check out their collection.
