State Historic Sites

Split Rock Lighthouse is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world, and I was excited to learn more about this iconic structure and its impact on Lake Superior.

No matter how many times I wander into a historical site dealing with Native Americans, I am continually disappointed at how so-called Christian Europeans treated them.
