What an amazing couple of days I had on my way to a friends' home in Ely, MN. I learned about mining, the Bois Forte Ojibwe, and the incomparable Hollywood icon Judy Garland.

Found a great city park right on the bank of the Big Sioux River. It was a great place to get some work done, and explore a little South Dakota town.

Oh my! I was craving some BBQ, especially as I was so close to Kansas City (my favorite BBQ place on earth), when I discovered a gem of a restaurant in Lawrence, Kansas.
