Back on the Road & Heading East

Visited on: Tuesday, June 18, 2024

After a quick stop at the Livermore, CO, post office, I rolled out of the mountains and back into Fort Collins.

It’s always a bittersweet feeling when I get back on the road. I’ve greatly enjoyed spending some time with family and friends, but in my soul, I know I need to get back on the road and continue this adventure and wandering about.

The one thing I seem to be struggling with is taking it slow. Time always seems to be moving too quickly, and I struggle to figure out how to take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy the moment.

I will work on that, but first, I need an Internet connection to work for an hour or two. Fortunately, the Fort Collins Old Town Library is only a few blocks from my planned path.

In case you’re used to a big city post office here’s what a total remote and rural post office looks like!

A small, rustic building with a wooden facade and a porch, situated in a rural area with mountain views in the background. A handicapped parking sign is visible on the left.
