David City Campground in July

Visited on: Monday, July 1, 2024
Departed: July 8, 2024
Cost: $20.00 per night

After a long day of driving, I was ready to pull over and stop for a while. The David City Campground is located in the city park, which includes a pool, picnic areas, and other amenities.

Water and electricity are $20 per night. Using a water filter is definitely a good idea as the water is a little rough.

A green military tank from 1942 is displayed on a concrete pad in a park within the David City Campground, surrounded by trees and grass. A sign provides information about the tank's history.
A vintage military tank displayed outdoors on a concrete platform in the grassy, tree-filled David City Campground, featuring American star insignia on its side.
A grassy park area in David City Campground features a wooden gaga ball pit, a covered picnic pavilion in the background, and several trees providing shade—a perfect spot for a July afternoon.
