The Lake of the Ozarks snakes across the landscape and provides so many opportunities for outdoor enjoyment. Unfortunately, I just needed a couple of nights to get some work done before rolling out again… And without a boat, I’m left a bit high and dry.
I wish I could have headed out onto the water to capture some of the end-of-fall colors, but I can’t complain too much, as these picture are not bad at all.

I was hoping for a bit more color out of the sky during the two sunsets I witnessed. I never could capture anything that really stood out, but these weren’t too awful.

After the not-so-great neighbors at my previous campground, the lack of campers here excited me as I tucked in to catch up on sleep. Then, at midnight, a group rolled in and loudly began banging around while shining their bright lights in every direction.
Eventually, I fell back to sleep after closing the trailer windows and shades. Then at 2:00 AM, I was awoken again by their music. They’d lit a fire and were enjoying themselves, completely unfazed by what assholes they were.
Fortunately, the next night, they decided to behave and headed to bed at a decent hour.
