National Treasure: Coronado National Forest

As I began moving up the forest road, the trees began to get taller, and I felt a sense of comfort in seeing the green leaves high in the air. When I saw the old forest sign, I had to pull over to snap a picture and take a selfie.

Dirt road leading into a rustic, dry landscape with sparse trees and bushes under a cloudy sky. A wooden signpost reads "Coronado National Forest U.S. Department of Agriculture." Mountain range visible in the background, adding depth to the scene. Desert flora lines the roadside.
A person wearing glasses and a Darth Vader shirt smiles in front of a wooden sign that reads "Entering Coronado National Forest." The backdrop features dry grasses, shrubs, and distant mountains under a cloudy sky.

I found a great campsite where I could back in under the trees and hunkered down for what would be a cold weekend.
