The young woman in the Besh-Ba-Gowah Archaeological Site & Museum’s gift shop was kind enough to tell me that the Mexican restaurants in Globe were good. However, if I wanted outstanding Mexican, I would need to go to Miami. She did not steer me wrong.

As I walked in the door, I wasn’t sure whether or not I needed to go to the counter in the back to order or whether or not I just sat down and waited for someone to come and help me. I asked the young couple who walked in the door with me if they knew and they directed me to just sit down and said someone would definitely be able to help me shortly. As they walked out of the restaurant a few minutes later with their takeaway order, they smiled at me and said you are going to love this place. I absolutely did! Amazing authentic Mexican food!

A plate with an enchilada, taco, and chile relleno topped with cheese and shredded lettuce on a green dish. A side of crispy tortilla chips in a basket and a cup of Pepsi are on the table. A smaller cup with straws is next to the drink. Salsa is served in a small dish.
Man wearing glasses and a hoodie leans in, biting into a taco. Melted cheese stretches from the taco, emphasizing its cheesy filling. He appears to be enjoying the food, which has a crisp shell. The background shows a ceiling vent and decorative wall piece indoors.

The food was amazing, the salsa was killer, and the Horchata tasted homemade. I left one delighted puppy with a full, happy belly.

I snapped the pic of this dated but cool bullfighter painting on one of the walls.

A colorful painting depicts a bullfight. The matador, in a traditional sequined costume, holds a pink and yellow cape, facing a charging bull. The arena is surrounded by a red barrier with a cloudy sky above, creating an intense and dynamic scene.
