Driving down Highway 283, I found so many interesting things to stop and photograph that I had to stop and see what would be in the next town.

Jetmore, Kansas, only had two notable buildings that drew my attention for a quick picture – the county courthouse and the First National Bank building, which was built in 1888.

A four-story stone building with a green trim exterior, labeled as a county courthouse, stands against a blue sky with a few clouds, surrounded by a grassy lawn and trees.
A street view of a small town with an old, yellow stone building, a white trailer, parked cars, and a clear blue sky with some clouds.
A two-story, yellow-brick building on a street corner under a clear blue sky. The building has arched windows, a slanted telephone pole, and a streetlight in front. Adjacent is a smaller building.

But of course, I had to snap a picture of the red bull, which is probably a tweak on the high school mascot, the Longhorns, painted on one of the buildings downtown.
