The wind was whipping as I pulled into the camp spot. I was really happy. I had managed to pick a spot that allowed me to walk straight out onto the beach.

As it had been a long day, I corrupt a quick bowl of cereal,  walked out onto the beach, sat down and leaned on the tree, and called it dinner.

The next morning, I was greeted to a beautiful sunrise before I rolled out and continued on my journey.

A sunrise over a calm beach at William C. Sterling State Park, with two large logs lying on the grass in the foreground, flanked by two trees on either side. The sky transitions from orange near the horizon to deep blue above.
