Last year, in New Mexico, I drove by several Blake’s Lotaburgers, not realizing what they were. Eventually, curiosity got the best of me, and I tried one. I loved them. I mean, seriously, who doesn’t love a delicious hamburger with green chilies?

So as I was blasting down, I 25 on my way to Arizona I knew I would need to stop and snag another one of these great Lotaburger, New Mexico style.

A burger with two beef patties, melted cheese, and sliced pickles inside a golden bun. It rests on white paper with red and blue text. The cheese is slightly melted, and the pickles are layered between the patties. The bun is glossy and soft-looking.
A burger on a bun rests on branded paper. It features a thick beef patty topped with a generous portion of green chili peppers and other toppings. In the background, there are blurred fast food items and a drink. The burger is partially unwrapped, revealing its contents.
A restaurant kitchen with a display featuring a testimonial about cheeseburgers and three screens. One shows menu items like burgers and chicken, while the other displays text that praises the restaurant's fries and green chile cheeseburgers. The kitchen staff is busy working.
A brightly lit drive-in restaurant at night features a large sign with "Blake's" in red letters. The sign includes a painting of a smiling character in a top hat, holding a burger image. The parking lot is partially visible with several cars parked in front of the building.
