Only One Thing To Make It Better

Only One Thing To Make It Better

A little video I shot after having to extend my stay at Saddle Mountain BLM Dispersed Camping.

Wanna see pics of where the tacos came from? Check out Taqueria Lupe.

Sometimes I get to thinking about tacos. They really are amazing! Have you ever considered:

  • Unreal Versatility of Ingredients: Tacos are like the Swiss Army knife of foods. You can fill them with anything from traditional meats like carnitas and barbacoa to quirky options like gummy bears and marshmallow fluff if you’re feeling adventurous. The tortilla doesn’t judge your filling choices. However, those around you may wonder why you have broccoli, beans, a Snickers bar, and sliced cantaloupe shoved into that poor tortilla! Don’t worry, I won’t judge you!
  • Portable Party: Tacos are the ultimate mobile meal. You can hold a taco in one hand and high-five a friend with the other, all while salsa dancing down the street. It’s like a fiesta you can fit in your pocket (well, maybe a big pocket). However, the real problem shows up when you need to eat four or five of them. You only got two hands, so you gotta find another way to carry more.
  • Taco Tuesday: Tacos have their own day of the week dedicated to them, which is basically a weekly holiday. Every Tuesday, people around the world unite in crunchy, savory solidarity, proving that tacos are not just food but a global movement. Don’t be a hater! Get down to your local taco shop and celebrate this most important of holidays.
  • Customizable Crunch: With tacos, you get to play with textures. Want a crunchy bite? Go for a hard shell. Prefer a soft, chewy experience? A soft tortilla has got your back. You can even mix it up with a “double-decker” taco—it’s like the mullet of the food world: business (soft) on the outside, party (crunchy) on the inside. I just found out the mullet is actually coming back into fashion. Please, universe mullets only as jokes, not on kids’ heads!!!
  • Condiment Cornucopia: Tacos are a blank canvas for condiments. From salsa and guacamole to sour cream and hot sauce, it’s an endless parade of toppings that turn every bite into a new adventure. It’s like a choose-your-own-adventure book but tastier and less likely to end with a dragon eating you.
