Taqueria Lupe

This video pretty much sums it up.

This place is just off the Tonopah exit on I-10. It’s not a really fancy place, but sometimes that’s the place to find the best tacos. I got three different types: asada, pollo, and birria.

I’m not sure what the salsa or salsa was that was served with the tacos, but it was pretty dang good; not too spicy, but it had a nice creamy flavor. While a cerveza would’ve been nice, I was happy with having Sidral Mundet.

At Taqueria Lupe, a white plate holds five tacos filled with chopped meat, diced onions, and fresh cilantro. Three lemon wedges, radish slices, and a roasted green chili complete this classic Mexican food scene.

Here’s their full menu.

Lupe’s Taqueria is a small outdoor taco stand painted red and yellow beneath a canopy. Beside the serving window, handwritten signs and a menu are posted. In front, there’s a table with a TV, cooler, soda bottles, and a mini fridge filled with drinks.

Unfortunately, this was just by a gas station that I knew had these cookie dough bites. I actually had some trash I needed to get rid of, so I popped over to the gas station, used their trashcan, and bought myself some cookie dough. It didn’t make it all the way back to the campsite.

A hand holds a clear plastic cup of edible cookie dough labeled “Cookies N’ Milk” with a sealed plastic spoon on top. The background shows a car dashboard, steering wheel, and green hills—perfect for a sweet treat after visiting Lupe’s Taqueria.
